Internship

Following the successful races in 2014-2018, this year’s Summer of Miles and Sir Walter Miler will mirror the defining characteristics of our unique product as well as introduce new spins to proven ideas that will draw increased consumer interest and move us one step closer to creating demand for the sport of track and field in Raleigh, NC.

In order to press on to new levels, we are seeking assistance in several key areas of growth: community, high school and fan relations, regulation of event merchandise, and elite athlete service. The intern will benefit from forming a network in the running community, work experience in the field of communications and event management for a professional sporting event.

The time frame for this position will be late May through the Sir Walter Miler. Weekly hours will depend on the waves of work that are time sensitive throughout the planning and execution stages. The intern must be available for bi-weekly, in-person meetings in Raleigh. The team is willing to work around class/work schedules if necessary.

Please submit all application materials to [email protected] (we will take applications all Summer). Please put INTERN APPLICATION in the subject line.
