First up on Wednesday, May 22nd will Prefontaine Night at the Rialto Theatre where we’ll be screening “Without Limits.” 2024 Sir Walter members are covered. Otherwise, get your tickets here! Next will be the Tracksmith Trials of Miles 5000 at Meredith on Wednesday, May 29th. Come run a fast, paced 5k at the home of the Sir Walter Miler!
Next up are the Pop Up Miles in June! We’ll again be at Williams Stadium off Athens Drive for the first three Tuesdays and the Pop Up Championship/Sir Walter Qualifier will be Wednesday, June 26th at Meredith, as some of the team will be in Eugene for the first session of the Olympic Trials. If you are going to be there, let us know!
July will bring on the Tour de Walter, our annual weekly virtual challenge that pairs with the Tour de France. Got ideas for a good course? We’re listening!
Sir Walter Miler week kicks off the first week of August (as always) with the big event on Friday, August 2nd at Meredith! The Raleigh RunDown Downhill Mile will be the following day, and you can register for a discount between now and May 31st!
Finally, we’re heading back to the classic Gateway Plaza/Crabtree Creek greenway course for the 2024 Raleigh Holiday Half Marathon on Saturday, December 7th! Sign up by May 31st for only $59!
