About Sir Walter Running
“Bringing the Greater Raleigh running community together through innovation, activation, and inclusivity.”
Sir Walter Running is a Raleigh-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that consists of Pat Price, Logan Roberts, and Sandy Roberts. Sandy and Logan Roberts both attended, and were standout runners, at Broughton High School in Raleigh. Sandy won multiple state titles and qualified for Foot Locker Nationals twice. He then went on to compete at Georgetown, and then at NC State as a graduate student. Logan competed collegiately for the Baylor Bears and has personal best of 1:50 in the 800 meters. He is now an assistant coach at UNC Chapel Hill. Pat ran at Providence High in Charlotte and was an invited walk-on at UNC Chapel Hill. He is a North Carolina and Virginia-licensed mortgage banker in Raleigh at Movement Mortgage.
Sir Walter Running hosts the Sir Walter Miler, Pop Up Miles, Raleigh RunDown Downhill Mile, Pop Up Cross Country, the Nash UNC Health Care Rocket Mile in Rocky Mount, and a series of Strava Challenges. Sir Walter Running is an official USATF club (#13-1063), and produces the Summer of Miles podcast, Singlet Public Relations, and postrun, a fashion brand that was born out of the Portland Track Festival – Innovation Project.
