It’s that time of year again and we’re excited to kick off Giving Tuesday with our 2025 Membership Drive as we continue our mission of “Bringing the Greater Raleigh running community together through innovation, activation, and inclusivity.” Sir Walter Running is a Raleigh-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
We’ve got some exciting things coming for 2025 and hope you will help support the cause! We had some big moments this year, starting with Puma Elite’s Fiona O’Keeffe winning the 2023 Raleigh Holiday Half Marathon and then going on to win the 2024 US Olympic Trials Marathon. In June, we had our biggest Pop Up Miles season ever, and followed it up with the fastest Women’s (Outdoor) Mile in the World for 2024! You read that right. Dorcus Ewoi led Sage Hurta-Klecker and Heather MacLean to the top three times in the world for 2024! Your support allows us to continue getting the best athletes to Raleigh every August!

Super Squirrel ($50) – The Summer of Miles isn’t just a podcast, it’s what we do. The Sir Walter Running Summer of Miles is the Pop Up Miles, the Tour de Walter, Sir Walter Miler Week, and more. You’ll get a soft unisex t-shirt and a koozie!
Sustainer Squirrel ($100) – You’re helping keep this train running year after year and allowing us to take that extra chance to make each event better and we salute you! You’ll get the Summer of Miles T-Shirt (unisex), as well as a Sir Walter Miler Tech-Shirt (unisex) and koozie!
