Looking to run your fastest mile ever? We have the race for you! The Raleigh RunDown is the fastest mile in North Carolina! Starting atop Centennial Parkway and heading down, the Raleigh RunDown is your chance for a PR!
The Men’s Course Record is 3:52.57, set by Brayden Burleigh in 2016, and the Women’s Course Record is 4:27.95, set by Sarah Rapp in 2017. New for 2018: $50 Bonus for any Male Sub 4:00 and Female Sub 4:30. $200 Bonus for any Male under 3:50, and $300 for under 3:45. $200 for any Female under 4:25, and $300 for under 4:20! (No Double Dipping)

Where: Centennial Parkway (USATF Certified Course Map)
2 Races: Women’s Mile at 7pm, Men’s Mile at 7:30pm (with chip timing from Rhodes Race Timing)

Cost: $20 in advance or $25 on Race Day
Shirts are back this year, and optional, to keep the price low. Add one for $5 when you register! (Shirts will be ordered 6/6. So register by then to ensure size!)

Parking: Parking will be available in nearby NC State Centennial Campus parking lots (map here) and at Trophy Brewing Co. at 656 Maywood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27603.
- 5:00pm – Race Day Registration/Packet Pickup (ending at 6:30pm, by the starting line). Packet pickup also at Runologie: Thursday 5-7pm & Friday 11am-1pm
- 7:00pm – Women’s Mile
- 7:30pm – Men’s Mile
- 8:15pm – Awards (provided by Runologie) and Post-Race Party at Trophy Brewing Co. on Maywood.
Awards will be given to top 3 in Male and Female categories below
- Top 3 Overall
- Youth (19 and under)
- Young Adult (20-29)
- Adult (30-39)
- Masters (40-49)
- Grand Masters (50-29)
- Senior Grand Masters (60-69)
- Veteran Grand Masters (70+)
**Top 3 Male and Top 3 Female finishers gain automatic entry to the Pop Up Miles – Championship Miles on Tuesday, June 26th. Winners from that race will get a chance to compete in the Elite Race at the 2018 Sir Walter Miler.

Marks must be within last 12 months. Unfortunately, Raleigh RunDown marks from previous year will not suffice.
